For the past 25 years, our volunteers have provided support to young Australians facing vision loss due to the corneal disease called keratoconus. 

Recent research indicates that upwards of 300,000 people may have keratoconus in Australia and that number could be rising

What we do...

  • We are Australia's only peer support group for keratoconus

  • We operate a helpline for people with keratoconus and their families

  • We assist patients find eye-carers experienced in keratoconus in their local area

  • We advocate on their behalf for more accessible and affordable treatment options

  • We fund research into the causes of this mysterious disease and to find a cure

  • We helped launch the world's first keratoconus registry in conjunction with the Save Sight Institute

  • We provide information about the disease and its treatments

  • We raise awareness in the community about its impact on patients

  • We support tissue donation for corneal transplants

  • We initiated and chair the Vision 2020 Australia Mental Health working party
